I wanted these as I spend quite a lot of time at the beach and these looked ideal for the purpose. They don't soak up any water and your feet don't slip around on them when wet, which is something I was after. Also I wanted something very well padded as I suffer from heel pain, these are just so comfortable I can wear them all day with no problems at all. I am extremely pleased with them
